Urban Jewels

I posted this graffiti on my other blog DublinSnaps while it was still a work in progress. I think the artist must have collaborated with the shop owner because you can see that Greenes Jewellers runs across the top. And it differs from the original, he made the text smaller to allow for the shop title and the jewels at the bottom. I think that more shop owners could make better use of their shutter by collaborating with such artists.

Vendetta

On Mary's Abbey at the edge of Smithfield, this area is a goldmine for findings.

Big Mouth

Greek st, Smithfield.

Quartet

On Meetinghouse lane off Mary's Abbey on the edge of Smithfield I discovered a jackpot! I like the Biffo ones in image 2, Biffo Says: No New Ideas.

Three Stooges

This young man, Ian was his name I think, was in Coppers last Monday night. He had seen the t-shirt on a random punter on a night out when he was in the bathroom, and had asked if he could buy it. After much negotiation the t-shirt changed hands for €50!

Breakfast Street

This was on Bow lane East off  Aungier st. FYI this is what all street signs in Dublin look like.
